The Porsche sports cars; two 911 variants and the Boxster

Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet

New, high-performance convertible with a fully retractable roof. Hardtop as standard. The fabric roof opens and closes electrohydraulically in just 20 seconds. This convertible is groundbreaking in active and passive safety. Two roll bars (hidden behind the rear seats) are triggered by spring pressure via an inclination sensor when a rollover is imminent. Porsche is the only manufacturer to offer side airbags suitable for convertibles, which also protect the heads of the driver and front passenger. In terms of engine and chassis technology, the convertible is identical to the coupé.

Porsche 911 Carrera

New coupe with a larger body, completely redesigned with a water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine behind the rear axle, 3.4 liters of displacement, 300 hp (221 kW) at 6,800 rpm, maximum torque of 350 Nm at 4,600 rpm, six-speed transmission or five-speed automatic transmission. Body with lower aerodynamic drag and more trunk space, chassis with a new front axle and further improved multi-link rear axle. With a curb weight of 1,320 kg, it's 50 kg lighter than its predecessor. Porsche Communication Management is available as a high-tech optional extra.

Porsche Boxster

Mid-engine roadster, in the lineup since 1996, with a water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine mounted in front of the rear axle, 2.5 liters of displacement, 204 hp (150 kW) at 6,200 rpm, maximum torque of 245 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Five-speed transmission or five-speed automatic Tiptronic S. Upgrade packages 'Trend' and 'Sport Design', high-quality optional extras such as Carrera.
