Completed on Jan 15, 1974 and originally delivered in Italy, she has been with us since 1996, having had only two previous owner before.

She's matching-number and still painted in its original Mexico Blau. Having been originally specified in 6+7 x 15 on staggered 185/70 + 215/60 VR15 Dunlops, under our ownership she's got 7+8 x 15 Fuchs wheels The interior is black/blue leather/tissue. It is still fitted with its period Blaupunkt radio with dictaphone, which was procured by her first owner after delivery, and has too many options to list, including headlight "tower" sprinklers, "Carrera" side scripts, LSD, exterior driver's side rearview mirror, Koni shocks and so on.

She enjoyed lots of track time with us in Imola, Monza, Misano Adriatico and other Italian tracks. A natural globetrotter, also ejoyed trips thorughout Europe to attend Porsche events.

The "G type" RoW Carrera "2.7" from 74, 75 (and a bunch of 1976 too) were equipped with the same 911/83 aircooled flat six boxer engine which powered the iconic 1973 2.7 RS. Dry sump, Mechanical Fuel Injection, six Individual Throttle Bodies ... 210 bhp and an incredible sound under acceleration .... whooooaaaaaa!

Latest News

• May 2021: some significant electro-mechanical engine-out refurbishment, including revision of the MFI and distributor; suspensions rebuild, in progress.
• September 2021: lack of time and new problems discovered made it impossible to have her ready before the winter season.
• Spring/Summer 2022: some more problems discovered: we had to machine both crankcase and crankshaft. Still waiting for some pieces to be done at workshop. We will finish when ... we will finish.
• Summer/Autumn 2023: progress is slow ... engine bottom end is re-assembled, suspensions have been overhauled and re-fitted.
• Summer 2024: engine is almost ready for final rebuilding.
• Summer 2025: rebuilding fully completed, now in the fine tuning process. We are very happy!
• Summer 2026: Enjoing the driving, looking forward to the completion of the break-in mileage!
