1973 Porsche 911 2.4 S Coupé "Biancaneve"
1993 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 Coupé "Bellatrix"
The last of the wild ones
Bellatrix was delivered new at the Porsche Centrum Essen. She lived for some years in UK before being registered in Italy. Painted in L741 deep mat black with matching black interior, she is really a mean machine, well deserving her nickname. Bellatrix name is of lating origin and it means "she-warrior". Her namesake γ Orionis, is the third-brightest star in the constellation of Orion. A powerful and sinister star that also insipired the name of the charming but lethal whitch Bellatrix Lestrange, of the Harry Potter saga.
She was specified with bumpers with impact absobvers, heated sports seats, green graduated whindshield, sunroof. The car was otherwise already super equipped, with full leather interior, a superb radio system, velour carpets, etc.
She loves the smooth autobahn surfaces, where she can express all her power, otherwise her stunning performance are simply overkilling on normal roads. Bellatrix has reasonable full consumption, so allowing acceptable endurance between refuelling. She has taken us to UK, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy ... and still counting.
May 2021: new Yoko tires fitted in summer 2020. She recently enjoyed full detailing (incl. interiors, underbody, mechanical parts). Bi-annual service (oil, filters, minor TLC) expected in autumn-winter 2021.
Sept. 2021: following Porsche Club Praha track day at Most Autodrom is in need of new brakes pads and tires. Shortly to be Sent for full service (including complete underbody cosmetic and funcional overhaul) and mothbolled for winter, in order to be ready for spring summer 2022.
May 2022: more (expensive) gremlins coming up ... she's not ready yet for the road again.
