Interclassics Brussels 2025

V12 Power Takes Center Stage

The 10th edition of InterClassics Brussels came to a close today, Sunday, November 16, after a successful three-day run at the Brussels Expo. The event saw a remarkable turnout as classic car enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the iconic V12 engine.

We participated for the fifth time, marking a welcome return for us after a long hiatus (our last edition was in 2018).

A central highlight of the 2025 show was its specific tribute to the V12 engine. This unique collection of vintage and modern V12-powered machines, which included legendary models like the Lamborghini Miura and Bugatti EB110, drew significant admiration. The exhibition offered a detailed historical journey, with guided tours providing insights into the engineering and history behind the vehicles on display. Among the modern classics featured in the V12 exhibition, a particularly noteworthy inclusion was one of the just 100 GMA T.50 models, showcasing its "vacuum cleaner" fan technology.

The InterClassics Awards were also presented during the course of the event, recognizing excellence within the classic car world. The selection of the rare white Toyota 2000 GT as Best in Category was greatly appreciated, as it perfectly represented the pinnacle of Japanese design and cutting-edge technology of the 1960s.

The Art Area proved popular, and we were particularly impressed by the work of young artist Ruben Groeneveld, who presented luxury, personalized artworks of owners' cars.

Our impressions: as in the past, the quality of the exhibited cars was good, with generally exorbitant prices but important differences across segments. Vehicles from the 1950-1970 period were accelerating in value significantly, while others—with rare exceptions—were struggling.

Among the youngtimers, BMW is clearly enjoying significant momentum; ultra-low mileage E30s, E36s, and even E28s are resurfacing and commanding top prices.

Regarding the Porsche exhibits, setting aside unattainable dreams such as the Carrera GT available for sale at one stand, our undisputed favorite was a stunning 1988 Carrera 3.2 Coupe. Finished in a special Nougat Brown Metallic with a full Champagne Sonderwunsch leather interior, the requested price did not actually looked so otrageous
