In a bold move to harness its illustrious legacy and navigate current market challenges, Porsche has unveiled the 911 Spirit 70—a limited-edition model that pays homage to the vibrant, expressive character of the 1970s and early 1980s. As the third chapter in the brand’s acclaimed “Icons of Cool” Heritage Design series, following tributes to the 1950s and 1960s, the Spirit 70 exemplifies Porsche’s mastery in fusing retro charm with state-of-the-art performance.

The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 992.2 Carrera GTS Cabriolet and is limited to just 1,500 units worldwide. Its most striking feature is the exclusive Olive Neo paint, a rich green hue that instantly evokes the disco era. Complementing this are Bronzite accents on the wheels, front and rear fascia, and decorative stripes on the hood and sides

Inside, the car revives the legendary Pascha pattern, a psychedelic checkerboard motif first seen in the Porsche 928 in 1977. This pattern now adorns the seat centers, door panels, glove compartment, and even the trunk mat. The interior is further enhanced with basalt black club leather and decorative stitching in Olive Neo or Slate Gray

To celebrate this remarkable car in style with customers, brand ambassadors, friends, and enthusiasts, Porsche Czech Republic hosted an impressive showcase at the Letňany exhibition centre.

Disco music, food, dance and roller show have amazed and excited all the attendees and the Porsche staff as well.

We had the honor to exhibit Biancaneve, our 1973 911 2.4s ... a truly icon of that colorful era. The chosen date also offered the perfect opportunity for a surprise celebration of Max’s birthday. He even had a chance to test his vocal talents at the DJ booth—much to the delight and astonishment of our Porsche friends, and to Max’s own cheerful embarrassment.

Now, back to business. Will these initiatives be enough to restore the sales momentum and reputation of such a storied brand, one that has been significantly impacted by the global collapse of the EV strategy? It may certainly help — but more decisive action is needed, particularly in the areas of quality assurance and market positioning. We don’t claim to have the definitive answers shareholders are seeking — only the hopes shared by genuine enthusiasts who long to see meaningful progress in the near future.
